Oceanside Talent was founded in 2002 by Victoria Read. The name comes from the location in Marshfield MA. on the north end of Cape Cod.
For the first couple years Oceanside Talent exclusively handled Bruce Katz in his various line-ups. Then in June of 2004, Steve Langbein took over management of Bruce Katz and together with Victoria, combined their efforts to form the basis for what is now an artist management and booking agency with offices in New York and California.
Oceanside Talent has become one of the definitive sources for affordable, high-end and reliable entertainment through:
- Keeping our focus in the Blues, Jazz and Jamband genres
- By carefully selecting whom we represent
- Working hard to ensure client satisfaction
- Oceanside Talent feels strongly that it's not about the money as much as it is all about the love of music and supporting the many great clubs and festivals that we've been blessed to have formed relationships with.
- And our affiliation with WhirledVisions Production Studios
WhirledVisions owner, Betz Girouard, has a successful marketing and design history that spans over 20 years. Ms. Girouard is a welcome addition to Oceanside Talent's team of experts! |
WE OFFER OUR ARTISTS: |
- Booking - we have an extensive database of clients.
- Negotiating contracts - clubs, festivals and arts centers in the US and Europe.
- Artist Management - spokesperson for the artist on their behalf, oversee the total package and presentation.
- Publicity - professional press releases, radio and press contacts.
- Tour Support - expert routing, press releases and radio coverage, posters/promo kits at the venues, hotel accomodations, meals, etc.
- Tour Management - experienced tour manager to drive, assist with gear, sell merchandise, etc.
- European Tour Support - oversee and secure the paperwork process.
- Marketing and web design - we have a whole division focused only on marketing, demographics and design.
